I started with Accru as a junior receptionist in 2012 and I was actively encouraged to pursue additional study to further my career.

Growing my career

Through undertaking the Diploma of Accounting, bookkeeping and MYOB courses, I am now doing accounting work and working closely with clients.

I really enjoy dealing directly with clients and assisting them to reach their business goals. It’s also been great to apply my studies to real client situations and develop my accounting and bookkeeping skills across our diverse client base.

Making a difference

I have been involved in the bookkeeping of several pro bono clients and actively involved in the running of these organisations. This has been a very enjoyable experience, especially as I can see how the work I do is essential to the successful operations of these organisations.

Accru is a very positive environment. The Partners and staff are incredibly friendly, supportive and helpful. When you can come into work surrounded by such a positive and enjoyable atmosphere, it really makes all the difference.
